Introducing new GMT Complex Tasks! The Mental Laboratory is for clients to see how applied GMT strategies work. We recently created a complementary set of GMT interactive tasks that prioritize real-world applications of GMT skills. In this blog post, Drs. Bri Darboh and Matt McPhee discuss the creation and application of these new tasks, which can be used during therapy or between sessions, remotely or in-person.
Flexible GMT is for applications where the traditional nine-session format of GMT is impractical. Foundational elements of GMT are delivered in one or two sessions, with the remaining content delivered flexibly according to the clients' needs. In this blog post, occupational therapist Charlene O'Connor describes the development of Flexible GMT with case examples.
This blog post covers the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the design of interventions and how GMT was adapted for use in telemedicine contexts.
